Our Story
This is how it started, and now we know it will never end.

How We Met
December 29th 2011I met my future husband through my little sister Samy. To tell you the truth I was never interested in meeting any of her friends but somehow I went along with her proposal. We chatted a bit over the phone and met for the first time on 12/29/2011 at a “Fritay Night” in FL. He was looking handsome or whatever (lol) but I was determined to have him as a friend rather than a lover. Since that night though, we had become inseparable. Inseparable as in spending days and nights talking to each other for long hours. Long hours as in 12 straight hours on skype without any interruption. A record for both of us. At this point, he had become my best friend. I love seeing his face, listening to his voice, hugging him, just being with him. He is a helpless romantic and the sweetest guy I have ever known. Yes, God changed my life for the better when I met the guy on December 29, 2011. Oh and is how we started dating: He sent me flowers on June 12th 2012 and proposed that I become his girlfriend. Yeah, like I said the sweetest man I know.

How We Got Engaged
August 11th 2018Looking back, it feels like it took forever before we got engaged. Honestly, I've never felt the pressure to rush into proposing to her. I've always believed that the right time would come naturally; and that time came on August 11th 2018. The plan was to do in a casual setting while keeping it simple and romantic. Deborah proud herself on being good at anticipating things before they happen; i can tell you she did not see that one coming. I had made arrangements with some of my friends and hers to meet on a Saturday evening for a “Paint and Sip” class. It was your normal painting class with laughter, games, drinks, music and everybody trying to be Picasso. Towards the end of the class, while she was taking a picture of her panting, I approached her with an even bigger masterpiece artwork: a predesigned canvas with the question: Marry Me Deb! (Well it was more of a command with the "!" at the end) I got on one knee, did my thing and she said YES et Voila!!!....Oh did I mention how much she cried?
